Massage Modalities

Relaxation

Deep Tissue

Deep Tissue

Relaxation massage soothes the nervous system, giving you a sense of peace. This type of massage is intended to strengthen circulation, relieve tension in the muscles, promote better sleep, reduce stress hormones, improve skin tone, and provide better joint mobility. Rhythmic flowing techniques will transport you to the dreamiest state of bliss.  This style of massage is refreshing and creates a long-lasting sense of calm. Pressure is light to medium based on preference. Includes sinus relief aromatherapy and hot towels.

Deep Tissue

Deep Tissue

Deep Tissue

Deep tissue massage therapy is designed to find the sources of your tension and unblock them for extended relief. This type of massage is a technical, therapeutic, and tailored session rather than just heavy pressure. It focuses on the deepest layers of muscle tissue, tendons, and fascia to treat chronic tension, adhesions, and injuries. This type of massage is dreamy yet restorative, and supportive, Highly recommend the addition of crystal mat theraoy and hot towels for deeper relief & instant relaxation. Pressure is medium to deep focusing on finding your comfort while creating a noticeable difference.

Neuromuscular

Neuromuscular

Neuromuscular

Neuromuscular massage is a highly specialized, clinical approach to soft tissue manipulation that focuses on treating the root causes of chronic pain—specifically myofascial trigger points, nerve compression, and postural distortions. This is where I can step into my "muscle detective" approach, targeting specific neural and muscular connections to provide long-lasting pain relief.

Trigger Point

Neuromuscular

Neuromuscular

Trigger Point therapy technique’s purpose is to deactivate muscle knots (hyperirritable nodules) that cause localized or referred pain using deep, sustained pressure to unlock contracted muscle fibers. While this can be seen as a “no pain, no gain” type of modality, my technique is applied with precision and care, focusing on your comfort level.

Reflexology

Myofascial Release

Myofascial Release

Reflexology acts as a reset button for the autonomic nervous system. When pressure is applied to these mapped zones, it shifts the body from a high-stress "fight-or-flight" mode into a more restful state. This modality improves circulation and lymphatic flow by releasing energy blockages. Techniques are derived from traditional Chinese Medicine and have been historically designed to find pathways to push through stagnation or stuck energy (qi), thus balancing the body's systems, from the digestive to the endocrine to the central nervous system.

Myofascial Release

Myofascial Release

Myofascial Release

Myofascial release massage is a therapeutic restructuring of the body's fascial web to relieve chronic pain and restore mobility. When fascia is restricted due to injury, stress, or poor posture, it becomes rigid, dehydrated, and exerts more pressure on tissues, causing chronic pain. When released, the fascia undergoes a process called thixotropy, transitioning from a gel-like (solid) state to a more fluid (liquid) state, allowing collagen fibers to realign. When freed, the fascia contributes to long-lasting pain relief, increased range of motion, and improved posture. By addressing this perspective, it restores muscles, nerves, and blood vessels to glide smoothly against one another again. As the space within the collagen web opens up, it allows water and nutrients to flow back into the tissue. Rehydrating & reorganizing the structure in this way helps the body return to a more balanced, comfortable posture, reducing the strain on joints and nerves.

Injury Related / Prevention

Injury and prevention massage is a true passion of mine. With 10 years of licensure as a therapist and background in exercise science, I have a deep understanding of human anatomy, bio-mechanics, and injury mechanics. For those seeking to rehab an existing injury or prevent one, this massage is a clinically oriented session that targets soft tissue dysfunction (muscle, fascia, tendons) to resolve pain, speed recovery, and prevent future re-injury by improving musculoskeletal balance.

Sports massage focuses on anatomical, functional, and performance-based outcomes, drawing on an advanced understanding of the musculoskeletal system to enhance athletic performance, accelerate recovery, and prevent injuries.

Cupping

Postural Alignment

Postural Alignment

Cupping massage creates a negative pressure on the skin, which lifts the underlying soft tissues to boost blood circulation, reduce muscle tension, and break up fascial adhesions. This type of massage is great for those who have chronic, repeated postural stressors, like a physically demanding job or a hobby or sport that will continue to trigger recurring stress. Formulating a treatment plan that focuses on undoing stress and the prevention of injuries typically calls for adding this modality. It can also be very useful for quick relief in a localied area.

Postural Alignment

Postural Alignment

Postural Alignment

Postural Alignment massage is comprehensive approach in analyzing and systematically restructuring the body based on anatomical physics. It relieves chronic tension, increases range of motion, and corrects compensations, using a range of techniques. The goal is to effectively improve natural movement, reduce fatigue, alleviate pain caused by poor posture, and to restructure the body's connective tissues to restore balance. Lengthening weak muscles and stimulating underactive muscles promotes sustained whole body tension relief. This type of therapy is designed to correct misaligned joints by focusing on the body as a whole rather than just the site of pain. When combined with personalized home care stretching routines that reinforce learning how to relieve muscular triggers at home this therapy is excellent at identification and modification.

Stretching

Stretching- Customized Home Routines

Stretching- Customized Home Routines

Stretching combined with massage bridges the gap between manual therapy and functional movement. The muscular, skeletal,  and fascial systems need stimulation frequently to exist harmoniously, especially with the stress induced throughout our lives, families, careers etc. The purpose of incorporating stretching is to accelerate joint flexibility. This result is achieved through lengthening muscle fibers, which breaks down chronic muscle adhesions and thus restores the natural range of motion.

Included with each massage treatment, we will customize stretches best suited for your tension. Stretching the muscles is essential in creating results that last!

Stretching- Customized Home Routines

Stretching- Customized Home Routines

A personalized deep stretching home care routine designed by me helps to educate and motivate your  active self-care. It transforms standard stretching into a therapeutic tool, resulting in longer-lasting relief, increased range of motion, and decreased pain by addressing muscular imbalances. This is my favorite way to give back to my clients: the gift of self-empowerment and the ability to address personalized problems with a more educated framework. Finding the source of your stress is just as important as having the knowledge & tools to alleviate pain.  Understanding reoccurring issues and how to work with them will help you be able to manage daily tension and recreate healing benefits on your own.

Upper Cross Syndrome

Upper Cross Syndrome

Upper Cross Syndrome

Upper Cross Syndrome  Massage seeks to reverse the postural pattern of rounded shoulders and forward head caused by chronic desk work or stress. Upper Cross Syndrome is characterized by a criss-cross shape of imbalance: tight muscles on upper traps/levator scapulae and pectorals, leaving weak muscles on the deep neck flexors and lower trapezius.  As a medical massage therapist, I treat this as a neuromuscular dysfunction, not just a sore neck. Each session is unique, aiming to open up the front of the neck and chest from under your tongue/jaw to your armpit/pecs to  the tips of your fingers. This is an area where I am incredibly passionate and routinely provide drastic transformations.

Lower Cross Syndrome

Upper Cross Syndrome

Upper Cross Syndrome

Lower cross Syndrome massage is excellent for those who frequently experience problems in the glutes, hips, legs, and back. This condition involves a criss-cross pattern of muscle dysfunction: tight lower back/hip flexors and weak abdominals/glutes, leading to an exaggerated pelvic tilt. Therapy is first approached by trying to improve body mechanics. A specialized targeted intervention aimed at correcting the muscular imbalances that cause sciatic nerve entrapment will include bodywork from the abs to the inner pelvis to the glutes, to the thighs, legs, and down through the toes.

Prenatal

Chakra Healing Crystal Cleanse

Chakra Healing Crystal Cleanse

Prenatal massage is designed to address the unique physical, physiological, and emotional changes of pregnancy. I want to make sure you feel supported during your session, so I will spend extra time to protect your delicate sensitivities through creative positioning. Gentler relaxation strokes whisk you away to a serene paradise while safely reducing aches, lowering cortisol, and increasing serotonin/dopamine, which are associated with improved labor outcomes.

Chakra Healing Crystal Cleanse

Chakra Healing Crystal Cleanse

Chakra Healing Crystal Cleanse

This modality blends ancient energy principles with modern bio-hacking technology to work on physical, energetic, and emotional levels simultaneously. The approach is a  holistic, multi-modal treatment designed to harmonize the physical, energetic, and emotional bodies. By integrating therapeutic massage with a 10+ lb PEMF (Pulsed Electromagnetic Field) negative ion infrared crystal mat, and a multitude of crystals / palm stones / Jade masks the session provides deep, restorative healing that goes beyond traditional manual therapy.

Healthyline Mat

Healthyline Mat

  • Recharges Cells: PEMF mimics the Earth's magnetic frequency to stimulate repair and reduce inflammation.
  • Deep Detox: Heated stones release far-infrared and negative ions that purify the blood and boost immunity
  • PEMF Technology (Pulsed Electromagnetic Field): Sends low-frequency magnetic pulses that mimic the Earth's natural frequency (around 7.83 Hz). This is designed to reduce electrical interference (electrosmog) in your body, re-establishing normal cellular interaction, speeding up recovery, and calming the nervous system.
  • Far Infrared Heat (FIR): Heated stones emit FIR rays that penetrate 4–6 inches into the body’s tissues, increasing circulation, boosting metabolism, and reducing inflammation deeper than a traditional heating pad.
  • 10+ lbs of Healing Crystals (Negative Ion Generator): Heated crystals—typically Amethyst, Tourmaline, Sodalite, Jasper, and Quartz—release a steady stream of negative ions. These act as natural antioxidants, neutralizing positive ions (from electronic devices, stress) to improve mood and detoxify the body.

Reiki

Healthyline Mat

Reiki therapy is a non-invasive, energy-based modality designed to complement physical soft-tissue work by addressing the emotional and energetic roots of pain. Unlike medical massage, which uses manipulation to break down scar tissue and tension, Reiki acts as a "flow" that harmonizes the body’s energy centers (chakras), moving energy stagnation that often contributes to chronic physical illness, pain, and emotional exhaustionCombining Reiki with a PEMF, negative ion, and far-infrared crystal mat creates a powerful, synergistic healing session that addresses the physical, energetic, and mental bodies simultaneously. As a medical massage therapist with over a decade of experience, I see this combination as an advanced, 4-layered approach to deep, cellular-level recovery.
